Tourists in the Big City

My room mates and I went to Toronto to celebrate Key Zu's birthday.

We visited Kensington Market, where we explored interesting shops and sidewalk stands. We bought souvenier T-shirts, browsed through ethnic shops, took pictures of Chinese signs, and felt like tourists! It was lots of fun.

After wandering the snowy streets for a couple hours, we drove to the mall and spent some time there.

We ate supper at The Rainforest Cafe, and it was the first time I'd been there. It was a neat place--all decorated with plastic vines and drooping moss, real fish in large aquariums, and realistic elephants and gorillas that moved around and made noise. Oh yes, the food was good, too!
