I decided I'd better dust off the old blog, because I could sure use a great way to keep you all updated on my up-coming adventures. :) I am pleased to announce that I am preparing to go to the Asia-Pacific region as a career missionary with New Tribes Mission of Canada!
I am planning to go head to overseas in July, if all goes well. When I first arrive, I will have several weeks of orientation. Then I will devote myself to learning the national language and culture. After that, my intention is to join a tribal church planting team. I want to work together with others to explain the truths of God's Word to people who have never had the opportunity to hear.
In these months of preparation, I am getting a head-start on language study, enjoying my family, and beginning paperwork. I am also seeking out people who are willing to partner with me in three specific areas: prayer, finances, and encouragement. If you are interested in finding out more, please get in touch with me.
